General Tithe and Offering:

A tithe, as defined by the Bible, is 10% of the increase God has blessed us with. (Lev. 27:30-32; Prov. 3:9-10) Seventh-day Adventist serve the Lord in His ministry of the Gospel to the world by using the tithe to support our Gospel ministers who serve in nearly every country of the world.  With more than 20 million strong, Seventh-day Adventists see to have "the whole world know" Jesus is coming again.  Therefore, the tithe is not kept by the local church, but is used to support the mission of God to the world.

God said in Malachi 3:10
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this...if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."

Offering, is that which is given beyond tithe for the support of the local church mission - for us it is the Maple Valley and surrounding community (2 Cor. 9:16-12; Psalm 96:8)  Our mission is to present the Gospel message from the word of God in a powerful, practical manner that is relevant for this time.  We are called to be a faithful, focused and friendly people, sharing the love of God, and reaching out to the Maple Valley community.

AdventistGiving allows you to return your tithe and give your offerings online while you do your online banking, are on a long business trip, on vacation, or even if you are unable to attend church due to an illness.
